I am trying to make a spiral stair that wraps around a pole at center with a 4" radius - when I try to do this Revit tells me that the radius is too small for the run. Any idea on how to get around this?

I understand that I need to have multiple stairs in order for the spiral stair to wind around a pole, my problem is that the pole is only 4" in diameter and Revit says that the run radius is too small.

odd, I just created a spiral stair with a 4" inside diameter (2" radius) with no problems.
My stair type is 3'-0" wide, so when drawing the stair run I drew an arc of radius 1' - 8", which made the inside diameter 4" and the outside diameter 3' - 4".

When I am saying diameter, I mean the diameter of the entire pole not just the inside of the stair tread. I know that may seem rediculous with the inside of the tread being small, but I am trying to solve this for somebody where this stair actually exists.

Zoom in when you sketch the circle, and don't use RUN, draw BOUNDARY and RISER.

Thank you - I think that'll work now.
