What is best method for multi bldgs on a site?

I have an existing house and I'm adding a pool house and other outbuildings in addition to some major landscaping - terraces, stairs, a pool - and would like opinions as to creating the added buildings in the base model vs linking them from outside. The existing house is already a 30Mb file so I don't think that the addition of smaller outbuildings will contribute a lot. And I don't see them having to move all over the site.

Your preference?

For that size project might as well just have one file...it will be cleaner that way...especially if you have to document the project...but in case you want to read about multiple buildings on one site...
