After setting up the user interface the way you want it (ACAD 2007 - screen preferences, toolbars, palettes, etc.), they load automatically the next time you open Autocad but how do you save them so you can recover them in the event of a crash?

Tools\Options\Profiles tab > Export. Creates a file with ARG extension.

Am I missing something?

Isn't a cui something separate than a profile?

My head spins when thinking about how to export AutoCad setttings.
Much to learn while becoming a jedi.

No. I am. I'm missing playing with the cui because I still use profiles - which I understand (enough anyway).

Thanks. Seems to work in my previous version of Autocad but in ADT, I have no 'Tools' menu. Only "File/Edit/View/Insert/Format/Window/Help." Gone are "Tools/Draw/Dimension/Modify" from Autocad 2006. Where are they now?
