Revit Coordinate System

Does anyone have some documentation on how the Revit Coordinate system works?

I would like to switch some of my AutoCAD projects to revit, but we rely on coordinate information for layout and as-built processes.

There is no coordination system in Revit as you know it in AutoCAD. Do you have specific issue ?
