ADT 2004 - Details ???

I'm new to ADT 2004 and still in a discovery phase. Going through the the ADT Help I fell, almost by accident, on a part called "Architectural Desktop Details". I've searched the User' s Guide (pdf) about this topic and found nothing. So can anybody tell me what are those details ? How do they integrate with the "intelligent" objects of ADT ? Are those details intended to be used just the same way as the other components ?

The Details feature of ADT 2004 is meant to complement the 3D features of the ADT objects by providing a way to quickly assemble 2D graphics representing the "detail" of what the 3D model is. There is no direct link to the 3D model, although you could start out with a generated section or elevation of the model and dress that up with the 2D Details graphics.
