I am thinking about updating my computer for work to a laptop / notebook so I can do some work from home. The system requirements for C3D 2007 will create a monster of a notebook. Is there anyone running C3D on a notebook and does your system meet the minimum requirements as outlined by Autodesk? I would like to know what everyone is running and how it performs, also what did your laptop cost that will run C3D?
thanks

Hi
For starters plug the following search criteria into the forum search (http://forums.augi.com/search.php?) facility ( limit your search to this actual forum ie Hardware (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=36) )...
Key Word(s): Civil
The results returned will give you a good idea of Processor / RAM / Graphic Card / etc requirements for running Civil 3D 2007.
Have a good one, Mike

Running 1.5 year old Dell M70.
1.73GHz, 1GB ram.
+/- $2400
A new M90 with 2 GB ram would be better.
Haven't checked price on this lately.
