Does anyone know where I can get a 3D Globe?
Thank you,
BradWith textures and stuff? I have one, but it's a 3ds max scene, not an autocad drawing... it's fairly realistic, so putting it together would be fairly in-depth if you're not used to 3ds.

Here's a link to free hi-res maps and bump maps of Earth (among other planets):

Just draw a sphere and add the map.
Hope this helps,

Could you please send it to me. I will give it a try!

Thank you,
BradI can when I get home this evening - did you take a look at that link I sent? That would be easier, faster and give a pretty realistic globe... The one I have also has an atmosphere that renders too (I don't think AutoCAD can even do that).

I'm not one who's much on doing homework for others, but you caught me at a good time: I'm bored, so here ya go.
I don't know how the drawing keeps the imfo on the bitmap location, so you may need to re-map the path to both the color map and the bump map. The sphere is drawn with a radius of 100, so if you scale it, you'll have to adjust the bitmap parameters accordingly. Also, I found out AutoCAD will accept bump maps, so keep that in mind as well.
Some commands that you will need:
RMAT
SETUV
RENDER
Hope this helps ya out,
