View Full Version : 3D DWF Export Origin Saved View

I have exported a RB 9.1 model to 3D DWF and the model looks great. HOWEVER, when I open the DWF file it exports the model in a view that I do not want. I appears to export from the origin (0,0,0).

Any thoughts on getting a saved 3D view as the exported DWF view?

Even though your post was from quite some time ago, I am currently exporting Revit DWF files and am still having the same problem. When I publish a model and open it in Design Review, one instance even has the model appearing off the page as the file first opens. I cannot see it until I apply the 'zoom-to-extents' button.

BtB,

The issue persists on my end.

If you can move your model, you should try bringing in a dwg with a cross about the drawing origin (0,0). Place the dwg in Revit by origin to locate where that exists in your project.

My issue with this persists because our models are placed at elevation 100'-0". This makes the DWF view come in as looking at the underside of the building. Not too attractive to share with clients.
