I would love to be able to select more that one grid line and either turn on or turn off that bubble. Also why is it that when I create a 3d grid line on level 1, turn on both sides of the bubble and start laying out my column grid, only one of the bubbles is turned on when I go to level 0,2,3,4,5.....I just spent about 2 hrs of my time turning these things on. I know these are view specific, but on a 250k sf building with 50 or 60 col lines in each direction, this make it a huge pain. This is why I would love to be able to select all of the lines and pick the little check box.

I agree with the wish. It's one that's been asked for in the Building forum as well.

As for turning bubbles on in other views, assuming you want them on for both ends universally you can right click on the grid bubble in any view, select all instances and change the type properties so both ends are turned on. This will change grids already placed and automatically place new girds with both bubbles .

(Isn't it great to get the time saving tip after the fact ;) )

Well I did figure that out shortly after I made the post. Only problem there is I do have a bunch that don't want bubbles on at both ends. So I got to spend some more time turning them off. Can't I just select more than one at a time? That's all I really want.

David, your wish is more intuitive than what I'm about to suggest and would be useful in situations where you decide you want the other bubbles on after initial placement but here is something that might save you some time in the future.

Define a level for each physical floor level in your building prior to starting your grid. The addition of a placeholder level above and/or below may be helpful if the design isn't firmed up and/or additional levels may still be added. This saves you the hassle of having to stretch the grid up in section or elevation to get the grid to show in plan views later.

Layout your grid on any given level. Make all adjustments with regards to bubble locations and visibility.

Select all of your grids and hit the Propagate Extents button on the options bar. Select the levels you wish to apply the changes to in the Propagate datum extents dialog box and hit OK. All of your grids should now look the same on all of the selected plan views. These steps can be repeated if changes or additions need to be made to the grid in the future as well. Simply select the grids that have been changed in one plan view and Propagate Extents to the others.

Another approach that can be useful if you placed all of your gridlines as single end bubble gridlines and wish to change them all to double end bubble gridlines is to either create a new gridline type to change the already placed gridlines into or edit the current gridlines type properties so that both end parameters are checked. As a side note: once you start toggling the visibility overrides on individual gridlines in a given view they will have priority over this method.

For what it's worth I prefer using only one gridline type and the Propagate Extents method to keep everything looking the same.

Edit: Guess I took too long to respond . . . again. While the factory is at it, it would be nice if the Hide annotation in view would work on more than one at a time. I know this wish exists in several other wishlist posts but I like to bring it up again every now and then  .
