User editable parameter in Grid Head

I need to add a text family parameters that will have several stock text by instance for this family. This stock Grid Head RFA usually has two parameters as defined by the OOTB setup. I made a copy of it and renamed it to Grid Head - Subcategory but creating a parameter in the file itself isn't the way I was thinking.

Any ideas where I need to go with this?

I was trying to do this a few days ago, and could not find a way. I don't believe it can be done. Though I was looking at shared parameters, that needed to be linked into the project, so I might have been limiting the breadth of the possible solutions more then what would work in your case.

Thanks, I would for now fake it with text between the two lines. once a solution has been arrived at it can implemented.
