Just curious if it is just me, but does anyone else get a duplicate file sent to the print spooler every time you plot a drawing? Not that it really matters much it still prints just fine. We use an HP800 Designjet. The duplicate file has no size and can be deleted without effecting the print. It goes away by itself if you do nothing.

Chris, we use a Designjet 800 and I've noticed the same thing, never bothered to find out what is was because as you say it still prints fine.

One question for you though, how do you find printing elevations with shadows. For me its an absolute nightmare, the time it takes for a sheet to be sent to the 800 and then start printing takes an absolute age.

Regards, Paul.

Same thing. It does take forever. They look great though. It is still alot faster than our first plotter. I was just reminiscing about the old Houston Instruments 14 pen plotter we used to have back in the 80's. Servos, belts and pens took about 45 min. to print a D size sheet.
