Schedule Roof Soffit materials?

Can Revit do a roof soffit material takeoff? I have a multi category material takeoff and roof soffit materials don't appear.

I have also done the same for take off for roof types and soffit lining materials don't appear there either.

Unfortunately you can't, maybe a wish list item.

Apparently this is still an issue in Revit 2013. Thought I was loosing my mind when the soffit material wasn't in my material takeoff.

It is possible to use Ceilings or Roofs for the soffits, and then use the MTO Schedule.

Like Cliff suggested. I use ceilings for roof soffits, which is really what they are IMO.
