Underside of stair

Hi Reviteers

I'm trying to make the underside of the winder step of a monolithic stair but it does not step no matter what I try.I tried in R8.1 & R9, and R9.1 but nothing.

Have you tried: changing to stepped, using the monolithic type stair, and then unchecking monolithic.
This will add to side stringers, mark those as none.
You can play around with sides, thicknesses etc.
If you want to you can use a riser, give it a thickness for the overlap.
The joining is not the best, but it is a stepped conc. Stair
I have also used modelling to create a few stair types
