Hey,
I have linked a site plan in AutoCAD format to my Revit project. When I bring it in, one of the property lines in the AutoCAD linked file moves over and maybe other elements as well. The AutoCAD drawing is not displaying correctly and also when dimensioned in Revit the dimension has changed.

Okay, I'll stop now
Anyway to resolve this?

Karl

Would you post the offending CAD file? We ran into this once and solved it with the flatten command. (Actually, we resolved it with a work-around trick that replicates FLATTEN without all the time it takes to rebuild everything - but that's a separate discussion.) What you may be seeing is 3D geometry that Revit cannot "read" correctly. We have seen this when tracing over ADT and AutoCAD stuff from current clients as part of our migration process. The issue with civil drawings and site plans continues...

This is just a guess but I would be happy to take a look at it and see if our solution would work for you.

Here is the CAD file. I tried the flatten command in AutoCAD. It was pretty messed up after that. Any help would be great. Thanks
