bitmap as background behind hidden line 3d view?

Hi,

Is this possible in revit, couldn't find the answer in help file or here in the forum. I can put bitmaps behind 2d views. Also understand the procedure to use the bitmap in an accurender material, but that's only visible in a render.

I want to use the bitmap in my 3d viewport. It's a site plan and want to put my buildings on it in a simple hidden line view, then export to pdf.

Sorry, already found the answer, did a search for 'raster image' to find out that it is not possible. nice one for the wish list.

I'd put the image and the view on top of each other on a sheet.

You might be able to select the image and set it to "background" (if it's "foreground" on the options bar, then it will be infront of your geometry). This works in 2D views...not sure about 3D.
