I am just starting to set up an enterprise cui on our network. I have searched auotcad help and this forum, but I have not seen anything that deals with different versions of sutocad.

I have ADT 2006, 2 others have autocad 2006, and 6 others use 2006lt. Does having multiple versions create a problem with enterprise cui's or not?

I figured I would ask before really mucking things up

thanks

From this response from Autodesk Subscription Technical Support, it doesn't look like it's a good idea.

It's all relative. Enterprise CUIs just have numerous problems, no matter what.

2006 is much worse than 2007. But even in 2007, Enterprise CUIs are a boatload of problems. It's generally possible to get an Enterprise CUI setup, as long as your users don't make any personal customizations... That's were the problems start.

Having a vertical app makes everything much worse. Having more than one vertical app is basically not supported - you need seperate CUIs for each product.
