Help needed editing Lighting Family

Can anyone please take a look at this lighting family and edit it to make it 2 feet long and one that is 4 feet long please. I hope to find out how to do this in Vegas. Thanks

1.are you sure that your lighting based on ceiling?
2.Your light Source elevation place under the ceiling so when you do raytracing/rendering the lighting will appear under the ceiling.

The lighting was based on the ceiling, but I flipped them to shine upwards on the actual ceiling. I have them on a timberframe system that I made and put a piece of ceiling on top to host them. I made a render and I see what you were talking about. I geuss I need to find some lighting that is not hosted by ceiling then right? I have no idea how to make my own, if you would have any to share that would be great. I am looking for something like track uplights that will hightlight the ceilings.
