Artifacts in exported DWG files?

I don't see that anyone's posted anything quite like this. I'm getting artifacts appearing in my exported DWG files (see attached). They seem to be related to the curtain wall mullions (same layer & shape). They're showing up in all floor plans that I export; same ones in each, and I don't see a pattern to their location (no typical relation to the mullions, and they're rotated about 15 degrees!?). The curtain walls have been there for some time, but these just started appearing.
Any ideas why they are there & how I might get rid of them?

Also sometimes we switch from HL to WF and such and don't really notice the difference on the screen.
