Since I do not have 2005 yet, I was wondering if someone who has it could answer my question.

When you use filters, you have the options of saving a filter to reuse. When you use quick select, there is no where to save what you are selecting. For example, if I want to delete all of my circles that have a diameter of .4375, I can use filter to select only these circles in a large group and it will save the filter to look for circles with a dia of .4375. I can also use quick select to select only the circles with the correct diameter, but when I use quick select, I have to re-enter the information every time.

I prefer to use quick select, but it is a pain to reenter the info each time. I wonder if 2005 has added the option to save quick select settings?

TIA

As far as I can tell you can't. The only change I have noticed in the quick select is when your selecting blocks. When you select by name you get a list of blocks that are in your drawing. Before you had to know the name of the block and type it in. That could be hard if you have some weird block names.

I like the idea of saving this info for later use. Sounds like another wishlist :o

That was my intention, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't already there before I posted it as a wishlist item. Thanks :)
