In Place Curve Beam Length?

I might be missing obvious here but it seems that I can't be able to see the length of an in-place curve beam even if I already add an instance parameter (length). Is this not possible or I'm just missing something here?

I can however get the length by digging up the path length of the sweep but I want a simplier process by just going into the properties of the beam.

You would be better off using a family instead of an in-place family for that purpose.

I'm not sure if that is a good idea though as I have a couple of curve beams with different radius and one with reverse curvature. Anyway I'll give it a try and thanks for responding.
