THE XEROX 8830 IS A SYSTEM THAN CAN DO THIS..BUT ITS PRETTY PRICEY. THE THE PRINTER COMPONENT ALONE IS SOME 17,000 DOLLARS(CANADIAN) MOST MAJOR PRINTER AND COPIER MANUFACTURES WOULD HAVE SYSTEMS THAT CAN ACCOMPLISH WHAT YOU NEED. ID RECCOMMEND HP, XEROX AND MINOLTA, IVE USED THEIR PRODUCTS BEFORE AND HAD GOOD LUCK WITH THEM

We are looking at a xerox to do this (as our company only uses Xerox :screwy: ) I don't know which model it is, however.

Hi Steve
Please note I have *moved* this thread from the CAD Mgmt. General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=119) forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.
Thanks, Mike

We have the Xerox 6030 (http://www.xerox.com/go/xrx/equipment/product_details.jsp?cat=Product%20Taxonomy/Wide%20Format/Digital%20Copy%20Print&Xcntry=USA&Xlang=en_US&prodID=xes_6030)which prints, copies, and scans. Funny thing is it's not made by Xerox, but by a Japanese manufacturer.
Works great, but as mentioned above, it's pricey, ~2.5K ... although when compared to their wide format copier, not that far out of line.

We purchased a KIP 3000 last year with two roll feed. I believe it can be purchased with single roll. The price is consistent with others mentioned in this thread. It has a touch screen interface and scans to PDF and TIFF among others. Also, can print plan sets from desk and have them collated. Takes up very little floor space.

Thanks Margaretl,
I have a saleswoman from KIP coming to call with info on the KIP 3000 tomorrow.

Steve
