I downloaded some fill patterns from RUGI and Revit City, but when I import them into my project they are empty patterns. What I'm I doing wrong?

Are you scaling them when importing? Make sure you set the scale it could be importing extremely large...

Make sure that when you import the pattern that you highlite the pattern name again in the box to the right of the import button. It is not good enough to just see the name of the pattern in the "name" box above.
It took me a couple of months before I finally figured this out. Also, make sure you set the scale correctly. It make take a bit of trial and error.
Hope this helps,
Tom

Thanks a bunch! That was the trick. Now I just need to figure out how to scale the patterns correctly.
Thanks again,

Make sure you read the revit.pat file. It describes how to create model patterns vs. drafting patterns.
