"Stretching" building

Dear All.

We have had a major revision on a building ie we need to grow the
retail footprint by a third. If we try and "move" existing elements
wholesale by a given dimension the following error appears :-

Can't change plane of Opening Cut Sketch.

This relates to flooring openings in the upper mall slab.

Does this mean we have to remove every opening before moving the
retail around..........

Any suggestions.

Probably not.
Try cutting those elements to the clipboard which are giving you errors. Once you've completed the opreations - paste those elemets back in. Not tha dimensions to those elements will be lots.

You could also try better constraints on the offending objects.
