Cavity wall fill pattern

In a cavity wall - such as brick veneer and metal stud back up, I would like to be able only see general fill patterns for the major components of the wall. e.g. fill pattern for the brick and fill for the stud wall and not see any lines for the sheathing that is on the stud wall. Coarse view is too generic and medium/fine show all the material lines. Need something in between without having to create two separate wall types.

Any suggestions?

You could use two walls joined together instead of one but I think you might find that annoying after a awhile. You could also redefine the wall to combine the thickness of the materials to show fewer components but, again, I wouldn't go down that road unless I had to.

I've suggested that the medium level of detail should do just this. So until adsk changes things, you just have to learn to live with all the detail or none of the details.
