Exporting 3D Models from 3D Max to AFX

I would like to export and 3D model I made simple 3d Logo converted from a 2D clip art. The problem is when I export the animation into 3D invigorator in AFX it does not read 3D max files any workaround this ? and also the background image behind the model is there a way to remove it or could it be transparent when importing into AFX
