right click short cut menu woes

Got a user who did something to screw up his right click s.c.menu. Instead of getting pop502 (edit) he now gets pop501 (default). Any ideas on how to get him back on track.
I tried playing with his options-right click customization with no luck and reloaded his mnu file (again no luck).

Reset PickFirst=1.

There appears to be a bug somewhere in 2005 that sets PickFirst=0 without reason (hence the term "bug").
