Visibility problems

I have couple of doors behind a colonnade which are visible from outside in the 3d view but are obscured in the elevation view. Elevation view depth is far beyond the doors (windows above the colonnade are at the same plane as doors)

Any help appreciated

Open up your door/opening family object. Select the actual opening. When you do, an option appears in the top tool bar which determines transparency. By default, only '3D' is checked. If you check the 'Elevation' option, save your family, and re-insert it into your model, your problem will be solved...
