Could someone please tell me how to change the default text font in revit? Also is it possible to change the font on the titleblocks that came with revit?
Thanks

Text is default as Arial. To change, select the Text tool from the Design Bar. This will cause the Options Bar at the top of the drawing area to change. There is a drop-down list there, and depending on what template you have loaded, some default text styles will be available. Click the properties button next to the drop down list, then click the Edit/New button. This will open another window. At the top of the parameters list, will be Arial. Click in the box where is says Arial, and select a new font of your choice, set the size and other options, and then most likely, hit the Rename button to give it an appropriate name that you will recognize. Once you set up one to your new font style, hit the Duplicate button, give it a new name, and set up the parameters for that new style.
Oh, by the way, this should be done in your own Template file, so that the fonts will be consistent on your projects. If you do this in a project file, it will only affect the fonts in that project.
Changing the fonts used in the Default Revit titleblocks can be done by opeing the titleblock family, and then go through the same excersize of creating new Text styles by modifying the existing ones.
