Linked file & filters

Hi all,
I have a drawing where I use filters to control the visibility of my balcony railings & stair railings. However when I link the drawing to another I am unable to control their visibility ie all the railings are visible. I have set my display settings to By Linked View. Any ideas? Thanks.

What happens when you select the 'Custom' option on the Basics tab in the RVT Link Display Settings dialog, and then change the 'Linked view' parameter to display as per a particular view from that linked file? Do the filters work then?

Just tried that, Chad - no, doesn't do anything.

Just to save you some time, filters do not work across linked files (in RB9.1) and you cannot use shared view parameters between host and linked projects either. You can resort to Phasing to achieve the needed visibility result.
