I have created interior elevations in my project and the view shows the thickness of the sloped ceiling. As a general rule, in interior elevations, you should only be showing the finish line and not the thickness like a section would. How can I adjust my crop region at an angle so I can only view the finish surface and not the whole thickness?

Hi "audrey.coppock"

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the Local Chapters - General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=37) forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

Thanks, Mike

Hey Audrey,

It's not possible to adjust a crop region to any other shape than a square, why, don't know. Seems a little silly, but enough people have said something about it that I'm sure it will get taken care of soon enough. But for now, you might need to create yourself a filled region aroundt the area of consideration and "wipe out" what you don't want to see. Hope this helps.

Ford is right the subject has cropped up before. Try this thread (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=32821) for starters. I found it by typing a couple of keywords like 'ceiling' + 'crop' in the forum search facility on the toolbar above.
