I would like to add a field in this shcedule that shows the ratio of the number of parking stalls of each type as compared to the total number of cars. Is this possible?

Sorry, no can do.
You can't use a calculated value (like Count) in a formula.
That's another long-standing Wish List item.
The reason is, that Count field doesn't really exist. Its not a parameter, and thus can't be included in a Formula. Where would you put it in your Family?

OK, I'm seeing that it's not possible to use "count" in a calculated value. Is there any other workaround that I'm not thnking of to acomplish this? All I really want is a ratio of each type of space to show up compared to the total. It seems simple in concept, but maybe I'm mistaken.

Here is how you can do it.
1. Define a formula calculated value: Name - Workaround, Type - Number, Formula - 1.0; Hide the column showing this value
2. Define a percentage calculated value for Workaround.
If this is a long standing wish list item then may be the recipe should be repeated in tricks and tips forum.

It works great!!!
the only thing to consider is that with 3 objects with the same value each one of them will display 33% and that is 99% you loose 1% unless there is a way to change it to 33.33% which I do not know if you can on project units.

You can use Formatting tab in schedule properties to set desired precision of percentage display.

Thank you Leonid. As usual you have all the info I need. I think this should be a tip for the tips and tricks portal page.
