osnaps mysteriously quits working

We have recently had a problem were Osnaps in our ABS 2005 installs quit working. The user is unable to use any of the osnaps. Is this a known problem & how do we fix it. We've tried changing the settings in options related to Osnap and nothing fixes it. We've also compared the osnap changes to people who's is still working.

I don't know of any issues with ABS2005

I know that ABS 2006 had a problem with remembering the intersection osnap.
I think that was fixed in a service pack. Other than that I don't know of any other issues.
