I have just upgraded to Internet Explorer7 and now my communication center does not display any of the updates. It is just blank. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how do I fix the problem? Any help would be most appreciated.

IE7 has been known to break a lot of things. Since CC is dependent on IE, I suspect this is the case also.
Although we have no plans to deploy IE7, our CC is disabled by default anyway...

Okay everyone, do not install IE7 if you still want to use the Communication Center. IE7 renders is useless and apparently some other Autodesk products as well. I contacted my local sales rep. and he said Autodesk is working on a patch. Thought you might want to know what I found out. Happy holidays!

RobiNZ Cad Blog had several posts on this topic. Here's the first.

Same here. We don't find the CC very useful, and the balloon is annoying.

Leave IE alone.
Install Firefox.
No broken programs.
Better browser.

...except Autodesk products insist on using IE.
If you ever do ANYTHING in ANY Autodesk product that causes a browser to start up, it will ALWAYS start up IE, no matter what. At least, if there's a way to control this, I haven't been able to find it...

Just outta plain curiosity.. Why is firefox so much better than IE? I am somewhat familiar with both but want to know more. Could you elaborate a little if you don't mind.

This is not the thread or forum ( AutoCAD General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=120) ) for such a conversation.
If you wish to read a little bit about Firefox, take a look some of the posts found in THIS thread...
Have a good one, Mike
