Hi there

If I have a wall 300mm thick, brick-cavity-block and wish to show, in section, the insulation within the cavity similar to the pattern that is produced by the "draw insulation" icon.

Is there any fill pattern I can download so that its cut patten will look like the curved wavey patten produced by the draw insulation icon when I view my section.

Many Thanks

Search the web for hatch patterns, I've seen one, but you will find that you won't really want it part of the wall because you probably don't wnat to see it in plan and there is no way to only turn off one piece of hatch

I have never found one but the hatch would not necessarily snap to the wallconveniently so you waste time trying to realign it. I tend to only now show batting above certain scales and just key my walls elsewhere, seems to work well enough.

I have just started using a hexagonal hatch instead of drawing in batting lines on floor plans - if it is detailed I will use batting... There is a batting hatch, but obviously it would have to be a rotated type for different angles of walls - no use really.... go with a hexagonal pattern, the one called "mesh" availiable at Revitcity is good at 1:50 on plans and sections, you cant really tell the difference between it and batting at this scale...
