I learned about them on this forum and began to use them a month ago. I found that I could not control the distance from the scope box to the grid end - generally way too long. In the same time I held for normal my first impression that the scope box should be a bounding box of the model/part of the model, that it should enclose it.
But I found out today a way to use them pretty well: I associate my grids to the model bounding scope box I created and them select them all and choose "None" for scope box -on this action all grid ends are reset exactly to the limit of the scope box - just what I wanted - still pretty strange..Hope that helps someone who's using Revit as badly as I do..
