Tapered curved column

I am trying to model a column that is a rhombod in plan section, curved in verticle section and becomes a rib in a dome and tapers. Rhino can do it, but would like to do it in Revit.

I don't think that is going to happen in Revit. The taper could be accomplished with a blend. The curve with a sweep. But the combo is not possible without a "lofting" feature in which you could basically extrude the shape along a sweep path with a separate start and end shape. I could be wrong, but I think your best bet is to model it in Rhino, than import it in as an in place family. I think Rhino can save out to dxf...
