current view only check box

Hi all

Just a quick question.

I have linked in a DWG into my Revit site plan and ticked the box saying "current view only", is there any way to override this setting once the DWG is in my project to get it to display in other floor plans without me re-loading it.

No. When this is checked it makes the CAD file a symbol. When it is imorted without that checked, it creates the CAD file as model linework associated with a specific plane.

Work-around:
You can cut and paste that imported symbol between views.

Problem is though, if you import into current view only, you won't be able to put that dwg on a user-defined workset.
