Linked file origin

I have linked an AutoCAD drawing into Revit and all was well yesterday.

On starting up again to day the origin of the AutoCAD file had moved drastically from where it was placed.

I have read some old posts on this and are somewhat confused.

Can someone tell me if this is an inherent problem with Revit/AutoCAD linked files or should I have my head buried in the User Manual right about now learning some more about the import features of Revit?

Once the drawing is imported, go to the "manage links" dialog under the file menu, select the drawing, and push the "save location" radio button at the bottom of the dialog.

Also, if you press the help button in the dialog, it'lll further explain this.
