Curtain system with aligned wall

I made a curtain system on a face of a mass, as you can see on the attached picture. Now I want to make a wall that is in the same face as the curtain wall system (split the curtain wall in 2 parts, 1 curtain wall and the lower half or less a regular wall). The problem is, that i can't figure out how i can do this. Could you help me on this one?

Try using the split tool, selecting the left or right edge of the curtain wall to get a horizontal split. Then highlight the lower piece & substitute in the wall type you want.
