We received an AutoCAD dwg file from a 3rd party. When I try to open it, I'm told I need to recover drawing. I run recover, but system tells me drawing cannot be recovered. Have tried different options (insert, ddinsert, audit, etc...). Are there any other options available to me as it would be very difficult to get another drawing. 3rd party is saying this is all they will send us. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It is possible it was corrupted when it was sent to you and cannot be recovered - I find it difficult to believe that they won't send you another copy...

Also, make sure the versions/types of software being used are compatible
