See Through Solid???

Newb question here....I'm working on a cooling tower project and I want to be able to see through the cooling towers to show piping below them. Is there a way to do this? Basically I want to the geometry of the cooling towers to show up without them looking like a 3d solid.

Hi Tommy,

Is you're cooling tower a 3D solid? If it is, what I've done in the past is assign the Doors.Windows.Glazing.Glass.Clear material to your solid. That way when you change the visual style to Realistic, Conceptual or other "sold" style the tower will appear clear.

If your cooling tower is a mass element you can create a mass element style using the glass material and assign that style to your tower.
