Craftsman home in progress

I'm an architecture student and would like some suggestions for my Craftsman style home.
For the assignment, we were given a 1st floor and told to create a 2nd floor while staying within a certain character...
I'd like comments about what to do with the back of the house. Also, I'd like suggestions on garage doors. Any advice is welcome. Thanks!

I like the idea of a master bedroom toward the back. Maybe replace the large window with a door and extend the roof over a cantilevered section. Support with large posts and beams. "The Bungalow" has some great examples. See Dilbert's suggestions on Sergei's post for some good resources.
