up until 9.0.......weren't we able to control the visibility of Curtain Grids? I mean, my bones remember having 4 curtain elements (since they introduced the curtain system) and now we have curtain panels, curtain wall mullions, and curtain system...but no curtain grid....

the curtain grid is now associated with "walls" so if I have a Frame Type elevation, where I only want the frame, (no walls, no doors, etc.) I cannot dimension to the center of the mullion....unless I turn on walls, or draw a line...

That's not cool!

Nope, it's been like that since I can remeber (8.1).

This was the reason I used worksets to make my frame elevations...see post below for my approach to this (used it successfully on a Junior High school project):

Now you are making me wonder if it was ever like that from v. 3.1 thru 8.1.....or am I getting delirious? :s

I think you can still snap to the center of the mullion (not to the grid but the mullion itself). I don't think it's as ideal as going to the grid but might be good enough.

I've always known it to be a pain because the curtain wall itself is a member of the wall category but then each element is under it's own category (Curtain mullions and curtain panels). That is in fact why I couldn't use filters to achieve what I described in the above post and had to resort to worksets.

In other words Luigi amico mio, stai diventando pazzo lol!
