Family Display Issue

I created and elevator family and have encountered something weird. The family seems to display properly in the family editor, but when I load it into a project to give it a test run, only pieces of the family are shown.

I have gone through the visibiltiy of objects and they appear to be correct.
Any thoughts.

sounds like you have done everything correct.a hint though.remember that within the family you can turn off the visibility of individual elements for possible detail views and you will still see those elements whilst you are in the family no matter which detail of the view you are in but when loaded into a project or nested into another family you won't see the elements in the specified detail view. Or you can turn off the visibility of subcategories of the family inside the project.My point is you might have to check the visibility of your elements in all the possible views i mentioned. hope this helps
