Hello all. I am trying to profile edit a foundation wall that is curved. Is this at all possible? I can profile edit any of my other walls, but the wall on the radius doesn't give me that option.
Thanks for your thoughts.

You can't alter the profile of a curved wall, but you can attach the top to a slope ref plane. if you need a more complicated situation use an in-place wall.

Sweet trick that. I have been looking for things that are just best done with a reference plane, as some of my users are tending to shy away from them, perhaps due to the newness of the idea. Without a reference plane, the only way to do this is an in place family with a big voide, which is not ideal in a number of ways. But a named reference plane makes editing the slope easy, and also uses a standard family rather than an in-place family. Just the thing to say "See, some thing really are easy if you use Reference Planes."
Thanks,
Gordon

You can cut a wall with a just an in-place void as well, thus avoiding creating an in-place wall family which is sometimes hard to manage. The voids themselves can be tricky to mange, just make sure you name the void in-place family with a meaningful name. You can included more than one void object in a single in-place family, then cut the wall with the one in-place void object.
