Hi
How are you applying the materials ?
Is it only certain Object types that exhibit this behaviour ?
Have a good one, Mike

I use the usual way to apply the material, from the material palette, I choose the material then Apply Material to Object, then I choose the object.
On attached drawing, only the ceiling and the door that can't retain the material.if I opened the file, the ceiling has a material like floor, (actually ceiling object is a copy of floor object).
and the door always show white color.
For ceiling I use Advanced template, and ambient, diffuse, specular have a value of white color.
For door I use Advanced template and diffuse map from my own map.
At least I have two other files that have same problem.

Hi
Is it possible to post the actual DWG file so we can take a look at the Objects that are not behaving themselves...
Have a good one, Mike

Ok, but I sent another file, the cupboard, which the object that has problem is a door frame.
This object has a stepped surface, and only the inner surface ( I dont know what should I call this object part??) that has the problem -- showing wood material, not aluminium --, the other surfaces dont.
On the file, the frame use 'frame al' material with no map, and the wood material from 'kayu1v' and 'kayu1h' with oak-3h map.
Yesterday I try to detach all the material, save the file and close it. Then I re-open the file....abracadabra...there's aluminium material on the frame and wood material on some parts of the cupboard....
I hope it just about a sysvar or something else that I dont set it up yet.
