I have a problem with line scales. When I set a line in model space, say for a hidden line, then change to paper space i have to readjust the scale. Is there any way to set this up so that they can be the same scale. This happens whether the drawing in paper space is at a 1:1 scale or not.

What version are you using?
What is your PSLTSCALE set to? Set it to 0.

But if you have different scaled viewports in the same sheet, it can cause a problem.
The psltscale set to 1 makes all the ltsclales appear the same in different scaled viewports. Your ltscale would need to be set at something like 1 (or .5 if you like the appearance of a half scale line type). Obviously this causes the problem of going into model space and having the ltscale set too low and you can't see it.

Also, PSLTSCALE is set for each layout. Each layout maintains its own value of the PSLTSCALE variable.

I just assumed it applied to all layouts per dwg.

Our company standard sets our PSLTSCALE to 1, so it's set up in each layout already.
Thanks for the tip

Guessing you are from Canada (Oilers logo), you may have measurement and measureinit set to 1. If so, AutoCAD loads acadiso.lin for linetypes. My work sets PSLTSCALE to 1 and LTSCALE to 10. Also, make sure the ovject linetype scale is set to 1 (CELTSCALE)

we have our's set 1 as a standard, our ltscale for 1=1 is set to .23 for paper space,
when we work in model space, let's say 1/8", we click on that icon and it sets the ltscale 22, when we go back to paper space click the icon for 1=1 to reset it .23. now if i could figure out how set the scale to change automatically by pick ing the tab's, that would be great.
