I have tried export revit to Autocad so that when I plot it looks as if I plotted it in Revit. We use the AIA standards in Autocad that comes with the software but it seems that the "AIA" standards that revit uses are completely different. Callouts are thicker than walls, Furniture is thicker than windows, etc. is there a way to actually get the AIA standards to match , when exporting to CAD. Am I missing something....?

Please advise

jmotto,

I have found that you need to complete a plotted comparison between both applications and then adjust your line weight mappings accordingly in the export file. The line weight coming directly out of Revit will not be directly related to printed output in Autocad. Revit's line weights are calculated slightly different with regards to thickness.
