Do we have control over what phase and phase filter an underlay shows up with? I haven't had to deal with this in the past and am not sure whether the underlay should come in with the same phase and filter as the view I'm changing the underlay settings in.
I'm basically trying to troubleshoot a problem. I created a level called Roof, about 50' above Level 1, then I created a plan view and selected Roof as the associated level. I set the bottom clip and view depth to be unlimited and the view shows up fine. The phase is set as New Construction and the Filter is set to show Existing to Remain and New Work, both By Category. In my Level 1 plan (also set to New Construction with a phase filter to show Existing to Remaining and New work) I set Roof as an underlay (plan orientation) and nothing shows up. What could be wrong?
