View Full Version : Punched hole in wall visibility issue

When I punch a hole in a concrete wall to have an opening, there are lines left on the concrete floor that seem to indicate that we have a threshold even though we do not. I have checked all visibility issues and view depths and still cannot rid myself of these lines. They plot and they are visible on screen and I do not want them to be. Any ideas? I have attached an jpeg of the area in question with the lines visible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How did you cut the hole? Component, Modelling > Opening, In-place wall void? What does it look like in elevation? Does the opening have a slight offset above the floor level that you aren't aware of?

This might sound trivial but....are you in hidden line mode? The attached image shows a solid fill on the walls but it could be that your hatch density is high and Revit does that at certain zoom levels, so I cannot tell. If your wall goes below your floor level and you're in wireframe mode, you'll see those lines if your opening stops at floor level.
